Monica Ann Bolton (née Warbrick; February 14, 1928 – July 22, 2023) was an English confectioner and cleaner who worked at Brindle Lodge in Lancashire. As the sister of William Warbrick, Monica was one of two maternal great-aunts of Cometan. Monica married George Bolton in 1949 and had one son Michael. George died in 1990 and Monica moved from her home at Crow Trees at Chapel Fold in Brindle to 18 Rhodesway in nearby Gregson Lane where she lived alone for over three decades. Monica died on 22nd July 2023 at Royal Preston Hospital surrounded by her son Michael and granddaughter Catherine.
