The name "Cometan" is mentioned an extensive amount of time in the Omnidoxy, both in first and third person with Cometan being the author. This has come to form our understanding of Cometan in the Omnidoxy and has subsequently resulted in the formation of the Omnidoxical Cometan; this is the personage of Cometan as perceived solely from the writings in the Omnidoxy and removed from his life events.
